The 120-acre park features a nature walking trail, tennis courts, baseball fields, football fields, three lakes, and a playground complete with Astro Turf and outdoor skating. The bowl-type skating park, built for skateboards, bicycles and inline skates, covers a half-acre site and features ramps and slide rails.

Snowden Grove Park is the nation’s largest youth baseball complex. Snowden Grove hosts numerous World Series and other national events because of its many amenities and locale. The 10,000-seat amphitheater hosts many national acts year round. The latest addition to Snowden Grove Park is the Southaven Field of Dreams, a mini complex for handicapped and mentally challenged children and adults. The Field of Dreams provides the opportunity to participate in the great game of baseball in a safe environment.

The Nesbit Blueberry Farm will open mid-June, 7am-7pm, in Nesbit, MS. For up-to-date information on the weather, crop tendencies and best picking times, check their website and sign up to receive emails or tweets. Call ahead for picking conditions or to order pre-pick. And don’t forget, the farm is open every Saturday through the winter to purchase fresh-frozen berries!
