HERNANDO Hernando Sports & Fitness Park Located at the Old Hernando High School, the Hernando Sports and Fitness Park offers a ¼ mile track, a lighted soccer/football field and outdoor exercise equipment. The bowl-type skating park, built for skateboards, bicycles and inline skates, covers a half-acre site and features ramps and slide rails. Snowden Grove hosts numerous World Series and other national events because of its many amenities and locale. The 10,000-seat amphitheater hosts many national acts year round. The latest addition to Snowden Grove Park is the Southaven Field of Dreams, a mini complex for handicapped and mentally challenged children and adults. The Field of Dreams provides the opportunity to participate in the great game of baseball in a safe environment.
