The Arena at Southaven

The city of Southaven multi-purpose arena offers over 87,800 square feet of open space that can be customized to suit an array of events. The center of the arena is 150’ x 250’ ft. with additional space available on the outskirts. Seating for 636 is available in the permanent bleacher areas surrounding the arena. In addition, the arena has 500 metal chairs and 60 round tables that can be used for seating on the arena floor easily accommodating 480. The entire arena is climate controlled by a computer heating and air conditioning system to guarantee a comfortable meeting area. An additional meeting room, small kitchen and sound room are also available upstairs. Ample parking for cars and trucks. Trailer space is also available.

Cedar Hill Farm

A barn and pavilion used mainly for company picnics, family reunions, private parties and wedding receptions. Also can be used for weekday meetings and luncheons. Cedar Hill Farm also has a unique restaurant with seating for up to 160 under the pavilion, seating for up to 40 in the main Dining Room and seating for an additional 160 in The Loft. The restaurant is located in a big barn and it is decorated with antiques and country decor. All food is prepared fresh daily and is made from scratch with fresh ingredients and a southern touch. The restaurant is available to rent for Private Events: such as Rehearsal Dinners, Wedding Receptions & Company Parties with settings ranging from country casual to very formal.

Gale Center

This center has 6,300 square feet of meeting space with a full size kitchen, 2 projection screens, ceiling mounted projectors, sound system with microphones, and tables & chairs. The entire facility can seat approximately 425 people.  

Last door on the right that faces South Street; our parking lot is on the West side of the building.  The Gale Center can be rented out by contacting the parks department.

Rental Rates:
Deposit: $200
Individual meeting spaces: $200 for 4 hours, $50 for each additional hour
Daily fee: $350 (8 hours)
Entire facility fee: $500
Kitchen fee: $75
Projection fee: $35
Non Resident fees: $100 additional
Non Profit fees: $100 subtracted from fees
For Profit fees: $200 additional

Essences' of the Mid-South Banquet & Reception Hall

Essences' offers the ideal setting for extraordinary catered events including spectacular weddings, distinguished corporate affairs, and all your family celebrations.
