2nd Annual Eagle Fest

Mississippi Wildlife Rehabilitation, Inc., together with the DeSoto County Greenways and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are sponsors of the Annual Eagle Festival, held in the Dub Patton Area of Arkabutla Lake. The purpose of the event is to raise funds for the construction of the Arkabutla Lake Wildlife Rehabilitation and Nature Center designed to educate current and future generations on the importance of the natural environment and the roll all living creatures play at sustaining natural resources.

The day will include interactive activities for children of all ages, arts and craft vendors, live music and a children’s play area, plus informational booths about wildlife and natural resources and educational programs, which will include viewing live animals.
